AUTOMOTIVE WARRANTY 2025 (22.2.25)

Automotive Window Tint Warranty terms, conditions and agreement (22.2.25) for all vehicle types and for customers invoiced by ABN: 81183816545 T/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS 

 

(1) All our Window Film applications, fittings and installations come with our Lifetime Installation and Workmanship Warranty, plus our 10 year Product Warranty.

 

(2) Our Lifetime Installation and Workmanship Warranty, and our 10 year Product Warranty is covered for all window films that are supplied and fitted legally to your vehicle, or to a vehicle in your care, and all works are performed and completed by ABN: 81183816545, t/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS. 

 

(3) Our Lifetime Installation and Workmanship Warranty covers any defect that may arise from improper installation, fitting, or application of any legally permitted Window film that we have supplied, fitted and installed on your vehicle, or to a vehicle in your care. 

 

(4) Your car window Tint 10 year Product Warranty is covered for faults and defects that include: cracking and crazing, or if it becomes blurry and hard to see through, or begins to peel, split or delaminated, or if it has bubbled or blistered, or if excessive fading or discolouration is visible, or if insulation protections have failed, or have significantly reduced or decreased over time.

 

(5) All modified weather strips and glass window seals by Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS are fully covered under warranty, including damages caused to the window tint.

 

(6) If any of the issues that are stated in section (2) (3) (4) (5) occur during your car window Tint warranty period, we will remove or replace your window tint free of charge.

 

Note: If a replacement Tint is required for any reason during your warranty period, we will choose to apply a tint that is suitable and that will match as close as possible.

 

(7) All glass windows that have been tinted by Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS and later installed on your vehicle by someone other than us, will not be fully covered on the warranty. In the case of a warranty claim, all related labour cost to access the glass will be quoted and charged to the customer accordingly.

 

(8) If another layer of Tint has been applied on top of a window tint that was original installed by Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS, all warranty will be void, unless Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS are applying, or have applied the second layer.

 

(9) All heated windows with heating elements that are attached to the glass will risk being damage during the process of removing the Window film and residue. Damages that may be caused during this process cannot be claimed under warranty.

 

(10) All heated windows with heating elements that are attached to the glass will risk being damage during the process of applying, fitting and installing the Window film to your vehicle. Damages that may be caused during this process cannot be claimed under any of our warranties.

 

(11) If any of the issues that are stated in section (7) (8) (9) (10) occur during your car window Tint warranty period, we will remove or replace your window tint according to our stated agreements.

 

Note: If a replacement Tint is required for any reason during your warranty period, we will choose to apply a tint that is suitable and that will match as close as possible.

 

(12) In the case of a warranty claim, a callout fee will be charged according to the distance between the location and suburb of your vehicle, and the location of ABN 81183816545 t/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS. This includes charges for our flights and accommodation if it’s required to complete our works.

 

(13) Scratches and damages to your window Tint and glass, that may be caused by poor maintenance practices, wear and tear, weather strips, glass window seals, window opening mechanism, accidents, neglect, breakage, repairs, replacements, or cleaning techniques are not covered under warranty.

 

(14) Damaged glass and damages to your window film that may be caused by the use of tools like for example a grinder, welder, screwdriver or panel beaters repair using heated spray booths and other tools and equipment are not covered under warranty. 

 

(15) Bubbles and other defects on your Window tint that are visible prior, during, or after installation, and are caused by direct contact of Grinding and welding sparks or damaged glass from the use of certain tools are not covered under warranty. 

 

(16) Damaged glass and window film damage caused by seatbelts, jewellery, toys, equipment, pets and cargo that have made Direct contact to your tinted window are not covered by warranty.

 

(17) Damage to your window film caused by flooding or by having been submerged in water is not covered by warranty. 

 

(18) If your Window has already had a window tint applied to the glass by someone other than Action Tint SEQ, or SEQ TINTS, and you have requested us to apply another layer on top, all our warranty will be void.

 

(19) All issues that are stated in section (12) (13) (14) (15) (16) (17) (18) are not covered under any warranty.

 

(20) If you require to colour match your vehicles driver and passenger front door glass to the privacy glass, or factory original tinted glass, we will recommend you to install a Window film that is legally permitted.

 

Note: privacy glass, or factory original dark tinted glass is fitted from factory to all the windows that are located behind the driving seating position. This glass is much darker and a different colour to the glass that’s fitted from factory to your Driver and front passenger door glass.

 

Note: If you choose to ignore our recommendations, please be mindful that all legal responsibilities and consequences are totally yours.

 

(21) If you require to colour match your vehicles existing tinted windows, or to a window film that has previously been applied, fitted or installed, we will measure the glass VLT and advise you of the closest legally available match possible. If a closer possible match happens to exceeded the darkest legal permitted, we will advise this to you and go through our recommended options. 

 

Note: If you choose to ignore our recommendations, please be mindful that all legal responsibilities and consequences are totally yours.

 

(22) We understand that customers may change their mind between the time of their inquiry and their booking appointment date and choose to have a different Window film installed. If this happens to be the case, please be mindful that the final Tint choice, selection, and legal obligations of driving a vehicle with legally fitted Window Tinting on Queensland roads, and other Australian state and territory roads are totally yours. This rule applies to the owner and driver of your vehicle, or the vehicle in your care.

 

(23) Special care instructions: please avoid handling and cleaning your window tint for 48 hours after installation. We recommend cleaning the Tint with a product that is safe and suitable for tinted windows. Please ensure that the product you purchase specifies that it’s safe to use on tinted windows, window tinting, window tinting films, and follow all instructions that are on the products label.

 

Note: if you have accidentally used a product that is not suitable for a tinted glass, please contact us immediately to ensure that your Tint has not been damaged. This type of inspection is free of charge. 

 

(24) If you choose to ignore our recommendations stated in sections (20) (21) (22) (23), you may encounter legal issues and consequences. These may include roadworthy certification issues, defect notices, fines, penalties, demerit point loss, loosing your driver’s licence, insurance claim refusal or rejections, legal fees, court fees and costs, and compensation claims that may be alleged against you.

These legal issues and consequences, including penalties may apply directly to the driver of the vehicle, the owner of the vehicle, and the Company business owner or a Person that is responsible for the vehicle, or if the vehicle is in your care.

(25) If you chose to order a specific window film that we do not stock, and have provided us with your glass dimensions, film choice, and we have made payment to order your stock, all the stock ordered for you by ABN: 81183816545 T/a Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS is not covered under warranty. This means that if there is an error on your order that is on your behalf, you will be charged for the replacement Tint, for the cost of postage, and an addition Call Out Fee will be charged to you if applicable. Orders for stock purchased are non-refundable and All film will remain property of ABN: 81183816545 T/an Action Tint SEQ or SEQ TINTS, unless the Window film is installed on your glass.

 

(26) To claim a warranty, a copy of your invoice paid in full will be required, together with your drivers license as a form of ID.

 

Note: it is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your personal and vehicle details that were originally provided to us.
